The last couple of days driving through North Dakota and Southern Saskatchewan have been endless prairie punctuated by the occasional section of these really weird hill formations. It is hard to take a picture of such vast flat ‘nothingness’.
On into Saskatchewan, we saw these huge fields of yellow flowers. It is planted fields of Canola growing (like the oil)!
And blue flowers, which turned out to be Flax..
These, at least brought a beauty to what was otherwise just miles of vast emptiness.
